Oribi Safaris guides are renowned as one of the best professional guides within the Tanzanian, Kenya, and Uganda Safari industry. Most of our guides started a career as young activity guides, taking guests on bike rides, walks, night game drives, canoeing and cultural tours. It gave them exceptional training in all the smaller wonders of the bush easily missed from within a vehicle. Some attended the College of African Wildlife Management Mweka. Also being exposed to many different guests, personalities and cultures gave them excellent social skills. This understanding of both the environment and people makes for fantastic guides.
Our team responsible in Mountain trekking is equally diverse and responsible for all our mountain treks and climbs, be it Mount Meru, Mount Kilimanjaro or the Ngorongoro Highlands. All in all, the team in Moshi ensures seamless and safe trekking, from the start to the summit and back. Prior to every trekking, our guests receive a full briefing by our operations team. The route, safety procedures and health issues will be discussed in detail and there will be time for asking questions. Furthermore, the trekking gear will be inspected carefully to ensure that everything is ready and safe.
Whether you are looking for a scheduled departure camping trip or for a specific tailor-made fly-in safari to the highlights of Tanzania, our sales team will be able to assist you.

Since I was a girl, I wanted to visit Africa. Perhaps I was influenced by movies such as “Hatari” and TV shows like Tarzan. I finally booked my dream trip to Tanzania for February 2019. Since that fateful trip, I have been back three more times. I have visited Arusha, Moshi, Kigoma, Zanzibar, and Karatu. I have viewed abundant wildlife at Arusha National Park, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and my favorite: Tarangire National Park where one can watch elephants all day. I have watched Maasai welcome dances and been claustrophobic inside of a Maasai mud hut. I have visited the famed Olduvai Gorge at the Rift Valley where mankind began. I have marveled at the exhibits at the Olduvai Gorge Museum and listened to the museum director’s archeological talk. I have felt like a rock star at a local Tanzania primary school and smelled school lunch cooking over a wood fire. I have experienced a baboon quarrel outside of my tent camp.
Currently, I am an employee at a US federal agency since 2003 and married to Jadim George Luangila. Jadim and I want to help you create your dream trip for an ultimate safari in East Africa where adventures are waiting for you!
